The chairman of the largest opposition party in Cameroon Ni John Furu Ndi, has once more surprised some of his millitants by acknowledging the outcome of the october 9th presidential election which incombent president Paul biya won with a land slide victory. Many of his millitants were not surprised by Furu Ndi's announcement because this is not the first time he is taking a decisions that is contrary to actions. Only this year, Mr John has taken many contradictory decisions. He began by refusing to recognise the composition of Elections Cameroon (ELECAM) insisting that its members were not neutral. Then he called on his millitants not to register for the presidential election. He also vowed not to stand for the election. His millitants and others were taken aback when Mr. Furu sudenly took a U-turn to stand for the election which was still organised by ELECAM calling on his millitants to register massively.
Such attitudes of Mr. John have led to suspicion by his millitants that he might have been bought over by the ruling party and its candidate Mr. Paul Biya. In any case, Mr. John has proven that he is far from being qualified to become a future president of the Republic.
